But we believe the next generation of exceptional Pakistani talent — sharp accountants, analysts, and finance minds who don’t want to spend their career inside someone else’s 9-to-5 — deserves a platform built for them, not just a job posting. Every person who joins HLM is part of that bet: that with the right people, given real ownership and real work, we can build something the size of the firms we grew up admiring. Founder Story
Built on professional discipline and an understanding of how businesses actually run
HLM Consultants was founded by a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in Karachi, after seeing the same problem repeat across growing businesses: owners making important calls without reliable numbers behind them. That’s still the standard every engagement is held to today.
HLM is now backed by a multidisciplinary team — Chartered Accountants, tax consultants, financial analysts, and data analysts working together on every engagement, not handed off between departments. As the firm grows across the Gulf, UK, and US, that same combination of technical depth and hands-on attention is what we’re building on, not moving away from.
