Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use hlmconsultants.com, including the Join Us Resume Builder and the HLM Talent Pool. By creating an account you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. The Resume Builder

• The Resume Builder is free to use. You need an account (email and password) to save your work.
• You can create, edit and download your resume. A small “Created with HLM Consultants Resume Builder” note appears on downloaded resumes.
• We may change, improve or pause features of the Resume Builder at any time.

2. Your account

• Use a real email address you have access to, and keep your password private.
• You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Don’t create an account for someone else without their permission.

3. Your content

• You own the information and files you add. You give us permission to store and use them to provide the Resume Builder and, if you ask, to consider you for roles and the Talent Pool.
• Everything you add must be true and accurate — your qualifications, employment history, skills and documents. Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to share.
• Don’t upload anything unlawful, offensive, misleading or harmful (including viruses or malicious files).

4. Applying for jobs and joining the Talent Pool

• Building a resume does not add you to the HLM Talent Pool. You choose whether to apply for a job or request that your profile is published.
• Publishing requests are reviewed by the HLM team. We may approve, decline or remove a profile at our discretion.
• Applying for a job or joining the Talent Pool does not guarantee work, an interview or an engagement.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the website — for example by trying to access other people’s accounts or data, interfering with how the site works, or using automated tools to copy its content.

6. Calculators and articles

Our tax calculators and articles are general information to help you understand your position. They are not professional advice for your specific circumstances. Please speak to us or another qualified adviser before making decisions based on them.

7. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Please keep your own copy of anything important, such as your downloaded resume. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses arising from your use of the website.

8. Closing your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing zain@hlmconsultants.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is meaningful, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email.
